About this Vintage Royalty Horse Brass.
The coronation of George V and Mary of Teck as King and Queen of the United Kingdom and the British Empire took place at Westminster Abbey, London, on 22 June 1911.
The Prince of Wales was proclaimed King George V following his father\'s death on 6 May 1910.
A horse brass is a brass plaque which was used for the decoration of horse harness gear, especially for shire and parade horses.
Horse Brasses became very popular in England between the mid-19th century until their decline alongside the use of the draft horse, but they have now become a collectors item and they make lovely wall hanging and often can be found decorating pub and Inn walls.
