VINTAGE 1950s SHEAFFER SNORKEL FOUNTAIN PEN DEMONSTRATOR 14K M5 NIB:

This listing is for a vintage 1950s Sheaffer Snorkel Demonstrator or Demo model in clear plastic.

Clear plastic Demonstrator cap, barrel, section and blind.

Gold filled clip and cap band.

14k gold Sheaffer triumph nib. Marked M5 (medium) on the underside collar of the nib. Nib is straight with plenty of tipping material left.

Pen has been used and is in good condition overall, but does have several flaws. Section and blind cap each have a crack running lengthwise. I don’t see any cracks to the barrel, though there is an imperfect to the plastic near the section.

The name ALAN BROOKING has been stamped into the side of the barrel.

Cap is in better condition than most Snorkel Demonstrator caps. Black fill is nearly perfect. There is one tiny mark inside the cap where the clip mounts.

Factory Sheaffer imprint is present on the side of the barrel and easily read.

The Snorkel filling system has been restored with a new point seal, ink sac and o-ring.

Even though the filling system has been restored and is in working order, I cannot guarantee the longevity or life of it due to the issues with the cracked section and blind cap. I am unsure if either crack will break the vacuum needed to proper fill the pen. Please purchase accordingly.
