I suppose I\'m a bit more partial to this piece than many Columbian collectors, having been in the book publishing business myself for far too many years. I\'m working on my third book about the Columbian Expo (a guide to tickets from the fair) and all told in the last 40 years have written, developed, edited and/or published some 200 total books.
So when I saw this piece from one of this country\'s finest publishers (obviously for at least 131 years) I couldn\'t pass it up.
It\'s very inexpensive and whether you are a book person or a Columbiana person, how could you pass this up. I was intrigued that the small brochure shows precisely where Houghton Mifflin had a booth showing their wares.
