Upsala Ekeby Viking figurine. The designer is Taisto Kaasinen. The bottom is marked UE Sweden #6064 and TK (Taisto Kaasinen) initials.This ceramic figurine of a Viking was designed by Taisto Kaasinen (Finnish, 1918-1980) for Upsala Ekeby. Kaasinen worked at UE from 1953-1961. The Viking series was in production in the early 1960s. It stands about 5 3/4 inches high. There is a chip on one of the points of the helmet. (see photos).
