Unusually Posed Lady Identified Orleans Co New York 1/6 Plate Daguerreotype S384:

This daguerreotype features an unusually posed light eyed young lady pointing to her head. She wore a bit of gold tinted jewelry and there is writing inside the case but it is difficult to read. \"Orleans Co, NY.\" is legibly written.

The 1/6 plate has its original seals with one side of the seals missing and the case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches. Most of the dust specks are on the glass and not the plate itself. The left velvet lining of the bottom half of the case is missing. The bottom hook of the case is missing.
