Unsmoked T. Cristiano Metamorfosi Stack Pipe 50 C1-Sterling Band, Italian NOS:

Ruby colored, tall bowl, thick walls—beautiful briar from T. Cristiano of Italy! About 5 1/2” long, bowl is 1 7/8” tall, 1 3/8” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 5/8”. Marked on one side of shank T. CRISTIANO, other side METAMORFOSI/ PAT. PEND., beneath shank 50 C1 ITALY. Band stamped SILVER 925. Red dot in white circle atop bit. No other marks detected.
Bit is well-seated push fit, 9mm filter, clean and polished, showing no bite wear. Stummel has 3/8” wide Sterling band, body is rich ruby colored, variable grain, a carved rustic panel on both sides of bowl, clean rim and bowl. Thick walls, lovely color and grain. Very nice—NEW OLD STOCK!
