** Handmade by Karl Erik Ottendahl of Denmark 1970s. **

Partially Carved Rusticated Bent Plateau top and Ferrule Freehand by Karl Erik Ottendahl of Denmark for Jobey.

Beautiful Flame and Straight grain Covering the entirety of this Beauty, and finished in a beautiful contrasting Auburn Walnut over black stain.

This Beauty is a Beautiful Rounded Egg Shaping

The Fancy Vulcanite stem is Jet black.

So this #3 is upper-mid range with Partial Rustication.

Plateau top and Ferrule are nice and Craggy.

** 1970s Jobey Dansk pipes - Weber owned back then - bought from Danish pipe genius Karl Erik Ottendahl. These pipes were offered as Jobey Dansk- and graded as such: 00, 0, 1-5 decending.

00 being the absolute top of the quality spectrum.

And 5 usually with lots of Rustication and or Sandblasted texture.

Made during the Freehand craze of the 1970s until exports of them stopped altogether in 1987. **

**So this #3 is upper-middle range on the grading Scale with Partial Rustication.**

Karl Erik Ottendahl passed away in 2004.

This Jobey Dansk Pipe and others are from a Tobacco Pipe shop in Florida that closed in the early 1980s, and until recentlybeen in the care of the shop owners son for all these years.

* Jobey Dansk Pipe Sleeve is included.

* Flat bottomed and an excellent sitter.

* Factory Applied Carbon coating is fully intact.
