Preben Holm passed in 1989, so this Unsmoked Beauty dates from at least that time,  more than likely its from the early Freehand pipe craze of the 1970s, Uncommonly Beautiful and Never Smoked,

50+ year old Ben Wade Golden Walnut Handmade Tobacco Pipe.

Excellent mixed grain consisting of Bird’s eye and Flame Grain on one flank and Straight and Flame Grain opposite,

Finished in a Walnut over black stain with Golden highlights.

Fancy Vulcanite stem is Jet black, Chatter Free and sports the \"Crowned BW\" stamping in white which is Synonymous with Ben Wade Handmade pipes.

* Chamber has a factory applied Carbon Bowl Coating.

* Flat bottomed and an excellent sitter.
