A nice improved version of the Airborne Glass, because in this version the soda can (Coca Cola) is NOT permanently attached to the glass. This allows for a much more casual and innocent-looking handling of both the can and glass.

The effect is simple, and very visual: you show an empty glass, and also a can of soda. You hold the glass in one hand, and the can in the other, and you begin to pour soda into the glass. You slowly separate your hands to put some distance between the glass and the pouring soda can. Then you release your hand from the glass, and the glass remains suspended in air, with the soda still pouring into it.

(In my kidshow, when I perform this one, I ask the kids who likes Coca Cola, and then I remove my hand from the glass to count how many hands went up -- apparently unaware that the glass is floating. Kids go nuts!)

The 3rd photo shows the glass floating, but in actual performance there would also be soda pouring from the can. Sorry for the slightly blurry photo, but had to take that one holding the camera with one hand :-)

This one takes some practice to do smoothly, but is not hard once you get comfortable with the handling.

NOTE: I am calling this a glass, but it is MADE OF PLASTIC. That said, it has a nice design that looks elegant and also adds to the deceptiveness.
