All money received will be donated to the Ukrainian Armed Forces!It is dedicated to decorative and ornamental art - Petrykivka painting, the name of which comes from the village of Petrykyvka (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast). This original art has a long tradition and is passed down from generation to generation. In 2013, the Petrykiv painting was included in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The obverse of the coin features: on the left - a small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine, under which the vertical inscription UKRAINE and the year of minting the coin 2016, on the right - the denomination - 5 HRYVNA; a stylized composition: on a mirror background - a fragment of a Petrikovsky painting and an artist's brush with a brush; logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (right).
