These photographs are from an estate collection -- purchased through a local sale house in Cecil County, Maryland.

sale Includes:

- Pair of (2) undated colorized 8\" x 10\" photographs of the DD-779 in original twin cardboard folding frame

- Postwar 7\" x 9.5\" print on glossy photo paper, 1947, entitled \"Ricordo di Venezia\" (\"Memory of Venice\") featuring the DD-779 docked in Venice when it was there for repairs after hitting a WWII naval mine

- Postwar 3.5\" x 5.5\" real-photo postcard (RPPC), 1955, entitled \"Souvenir of Cuba\" featuring the DD-779 at Havana, Cuba during naval exercises

- Three other undated black-and-white prints -- one glossy, and the other two being identical except that one is captioned in pencil (can be erased)

- Finally, an undated photo c.1940s-1950s that came with this collection, captioned only with the name \"Kidd,\" and depicting 27 crew members posing on the deck of a ship. Since it was with the collection, I can only surmise that it is related to the USS Douglas H. Fox.

- As pictured, some age creases and marks of handling, but no signs of abuse

- From a non-smoking environment

The above is my good-faith attempt to disclose all noteworthy issues. Keep in mind that vintage/antique items always show their age. (Don\'t we all!?) It would be impossible to mention every tiny detail, so please expect that there will be something about this item (or lot) that\'s not perfect and may need touch-up.

Please be aware -- as with ALL antique and vintage paintings, prints, and other framed items -- that there is a potential (though unlikely) that the original paint on the frame may contain lead compounds, and (even MORE unlikely, though possible) asbestos-related materials. If this is a concern, one option is that you can apply a clear matte sealer over it so nobody comes in direct contact with the original paint.
