USMC written and printed Pacific Campaign Hardback Books set of 6. Includes 1951 publications Tinion and Marine Aviation in the Philippines. Includes 1952 publication Marines in the Central Solomons. Includes 1954 publications Iwo Jima Amphibious Epic, The Marshalls Increasing the Tempo and The Recapture of Guam. These hardback books measure 8\" by 10 1/2\"and were published in-house by the Historical Division Headquarters USMC. Highly detailed regarding weaponry, chains of commands, time-lines and tactics, these books also feature little seen photographs and dozens of maps. Two of the books, Iwo Jima and Guam, have significant fold-out map addendums. Pre-owned all 6 books show binder wear and all 6 show some effects of moisture, pictured. There is some light moisture staining just inside the bindings, some not all, and there are some page wrinkles, some not all, from moisture exposure, but no molds or ink bleeding. The pages, with the exception of some moisture wrinkles, are in good condition. No dogears, written notes or missing pages. A couple of the fold-out maps have a small bottom edge tear-out, pictured, but the rest have at worst a few moisture wrinkles.
