USGI M1 Helmet. I am uncertain exactly how to date these helmets, so I will point out what I see or do believe is accurate. Please do your own research before purchase.
Rear seam steel helmet with hinged swivels. Steel helmet has some dents on surface, damaged paint and some writing on it.
Inside of steel helmet is stamped M 335 E
Chin strap appears to be WWII style clasp and has a deteriorating strap on one side.
Helmet liner appears to be Vietnam era production. Outside paint on liner appears to be a very dark green color and is glossy. Lots of paint chipping off.
Crown of liner is stamped M V
There is no sweatband and some of the metal components show rust/corrosion.
