An original, near mint US WWII officer\'s Ike jacket, labeled large size 42S, April 1945 dated, 1st Infantry Division, 16th Infantry Regiment, D-Day tribute jacket. The jacket came without any insignia. The 1st Infantry Division patch, pins, badges and the bullion overseas bars were added by me as follows: Two 16th Infantry Regiment, Meyer marked pin-backs; matching Sterling pin-back Captain bars; snowflake back US and infantry pins with early war clutches; Sterling marked CIB badge; Sterling marked, pin-back marksman badge with Carbine tab, clutch-back presidential unit citation badge with open clasp, plastic (Theatre made?); Wolf Brown ribbon bars featuring an ETO bar with the D-Day arrowhead. The jacket shows very moderate wear with the only issues being a couple very small holes and a very small repair to the upper left sleeve about 2 inches below my finger in the 12th photo . The tag indicates an April 1945 date with a large size of 42S. Approximate measurements as follows: armpit to armpit seam -23\"; waist side seam to side seam - 20.5\"; shoulder to shoulder seam - 20\"; sleeve length measured from top shoulder seam to cuff - 23\"
