Unofficial Revolutionary War (1775-1783) (USA, USN, USMC) campaign ribbon.

The Civil War was the earliest campaign for which a medal was awarded with a 1 3/8 inch service ribbon. Prior campaigns were recognized with battle streamer ribbon which is 2 3/4 inches wide. This difference in size made the compact display of military campaigns difficult. We have had the early campaign battle streamer ribbons manufactured in the standard 1 3/8 inch size, so all campaigns may be displayed on standard ribbon mounts. A great way to display your unit or ship history in a small amount of space.
