Vintage Original 1947 or 1948 version of the United States PLEDGE of ALLEGIANCE print with full-color patriotic imagery.

The is in excellent vintage condition with no signs of damage. Print includes images of Betsy Ross, an American Eagle, raising flag at Iwo Jima, and the British fleet attacking one of the colonists\' forts on shore. The three ships also evoke the earlier Christopher Columbus fleet of the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria. The illustrators name is included in the lower right corner, PHOEBE HANSEN.

There is a more recent annotation and explanation of the image taped to the back of the frame by a previous dealer, whose name also appears as ADtigues of Lake Zurich, IL. The ad is matted, framed, and behind glass. NOTE THAT THE PHOTOS HERE WERE ALL TAKEN THROUGH THE GLASS, SO THERE ARE SOME STRAY REFLECTIONS AND SHADOWS THAT DO NOT APPEAR ON THE PRINT ITSELF.

The frame is about 9\" x 11\", and the print itself is about 5 1/2\" x 7 1/2\".

Condition is \"Used\".
