This sale is for the original artwork by Jack Higgins for his Chicago Sun-Times editorial cartoon dated 1985. The artwork deals with the skyrocketing United States Federal Debt that between 1980 and 1985 had more than doubled. The artwork measures approx. 12-1/2\" x 17-1/2\". This is the original artwork that Jack Higgins created. On the back you can see some markings / notes made by Sun-Times editors. The artwork is in good condition - there are a few small marks/smudges on the art - there is some light dirt - there is a 3\" x 1/2\" sticker on the back at the bottom, which was probably put on by the newspaper and has some light paper loss by it - there is light dirt on the back of the art and ink transfer on the back from artwork that was stored under this one - there is some light dirt along the right edge. A NICE, ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE OF EDITORIAL ARTWORK THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED! When packed, this will ship at the 2 pound rate - check the postage calculator.
