Fashion Decorative20th MAGNIFICENT FRENCH ART NOUVEAU NATURALISTIC BRONZE INKWELL by ALBERT MARIONNET C. 1900 Description: A large unusual Albert Marionnet (1852-1910) bronze Art Nouveau inkwell. It is beautifully modeled with imposing leaves and chestnut . This organic motif has superb realistic details.
The casting is very fine own the Albert Marionnet French-Paris foundry.
The piece is beautifully patinated in brown.
Signed in front \"A. Marionnet and marked on back \"A MARIONNET // BRONZES // PARIS // FRANCE // DEPOSE.
Measures: Height: 11 cm or 4 1/4 inches. to top fruit. Length 40 cm or 15 3/4 inches. Depth: 25 cm or 9 3/4 inches. Condition: Very good original condition.
Some color changes or lost on the brown patina, minor traces of surface soiling and oxidation concentrated to the recessed contours of the design. Light scratches consistent with age and use.
