Open is 16 1/2" x 16 1/2" x 2 3/8" (folder 16 1/2 x 8 1/4 x 4 7/8" and weighs a substantial 8 Pounds - Interior is lined with a cushion and a cloth holding strap as shown. Exterior is made from wood and has what looks and feels like a heavy plastic/resin pattern - TWO CORNERS HAVE NICKS as shown - overall excellent condition and can be used for multiple purposes - Its a great box to have sit on the TV table to store odds and ends, like extra remotes.
