. Collected by trawlingin 100-120 meters of water, off Phuket Island, Thailand, from an old collection. The number of super-rare shells that have become available since I started collecting in the 60\'s is amazing---the milneedwardsi and the bengalensis cones being the two biggest changes. Those two cones went from being so scarce they were rarely found in museums, (much less personal collections) to being beauties thatjust about anyonecan own now---I mean, they used to be so rare, they were almostneverincluded in shell collecting books, amazing!. And this shell, a fabulous beauty---with a gorgeous pattern, intact spire, a smooth bodyandagreat lip is something that I don\'t see often---arare, nice-sized GEMof the species, a special shell that will lookterrificsitting on your shelf!The ultra-perfect shell for a first-class collection.

As for normal disclaimers, we do the best we can with photos, but color is tricky, especially since cell phone cameras automatically lean towards flesh-tone coloring, (that\'s why so many of the photos of shells on show up with more orange than is really there, the camera changes the color, and damm if I can figure out how to stop that from happening, but I try, honest!As for response, as your know, sellers live and die by the response you leaved, (please leave fives!) so if you have a problem, just let me know!
