The year is 1969. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin would be the first men on the moon. Richard Nixon is the president. The Woodstock festival takes place. And in Donnellson, Iowa, the Dancing D\'s Square Dance Club take over the American Legion Hall every first and third Saturday night. Here is a schedule booklet listing the various callers, one of which is the talented Bud Conner of Ottumwa. The second booklet contains the schedule for Mr. Conner which included \'69 gigs at Kirksville, Mo., Hannibal, Missouri, the Pella, Iowa, ice cream social, plus the Fort Dodge Sugarfooters. These pocket booklets are very clean and are in good condition.No handwriting, highlighting, rips or tears. The Square Dance club schedule is approximately 2.5 inches by 4 inches. Conner\'s is a bit smaller as seen in the photos. Nice reference materials forinterested collectors who desire authentic items from the era.
