Perkeo Statue of Newborn Baby signed by MAT WANDERS (born July 4, 1933, deceased May 9, 1991). He was a sculptor and statue designer from Limburg. He lived and worked in Margraten. He designed for the ceramics company "PERKEO Art atelier GmbH" and made sculptures of babies, children, professions, miners and wall sculptures. His 'Miners' series in Germany and his 'Baby Statues' series in Belgium were well known. Sculptures by Mat Wanders can be found mainly in Limburg in public areas (village squares, etc.). His sculptures have been sold and exhibited at fairs in Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt and others.
