Description:This listing is for a stunningly-beautiful pair of hand painted porcelain plates from Heinrich & Co (H&Co.) Kunstabteilung (Art Dept) Seethal-Chiemsee. Made & decorated in Germany, these beautiful plates are white porcelain, with a light green background on each plate, and is then hand painted in a rose gold detailing.
One plate has a very stylized exotic bird flying with long flowing tail feathers and a long pointed beak. A light green shading can be seen on the outside rim edge of the plate. The very edge of the plate has been painted with rose gold.
The other plate has been painted with a beautiful flower (sunflower?) with leaves and greenery. Amazing detail on both the flower and with the leaves. A shaded green area can be seen directly behind this flower design.The very edge of the plate has been painted with rose gold.
The pair of these plates together are amazingly beautiful and so well done. They would make a beautiful addition to one\'s home or as a really lovely gift. Don\'t miss out on the pair!!!
Maker Mark On Each Plate:- A gold palette with brushes has the following printed around the outside edge in gold: the palette, printed is green is the Crown insignia for Heinrich and reads: H&CO... SELB... BAVARIA... GERMANY... HEINRICH...

- Finally, each plate has their own number printed in gold: The bird plate is \"1069\"; the flower plate is \"1070\"

Size:Each measures approx. 7-3/4\" diameter
Condition:Pre-Owned. EXCELLENT. They were used only for display and they were cared for. No chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, stains or utensil marks. No manufacturer flaws can be seen. Gilt work is in excellent condition, bright and shiny. Each plate has been wiped off with mild cleaner.Seller Notes:- Review our photos for details prior to purchasing.
