This sale is for a trio of Gail figurines.

She is stunning, with an air of dignity in agraceful kind of way. She is grand ineither the pink dress or the blue-aqua color.The pics do no justice for the coloring.

These are Josef Originals figurines made in California byMuriel Joseph George, one of her earliest productions, The Garden Party Series,1950s. Measuring atapproximately 5.5”.

Two Gails are adorned in a pink dress with aqua accentsand aqua gemstones in the flowers.Opposite is the other Gail in a blue-aqua dress with pink accents and pinkgemstones in the flowers. Two flowers on each complimentthe hem of her dress and one on her bonnet.The dresses are full and flowing with a beautiful gold accented neckline and longsleeves. You will see gold spaghettiaccents on the hat and around the flowers and the bonnet has a gold ribbon thathangs with a flair around her neck, down past her waist.Her expression is dreamy.

The famous Josef Originals signature is on the bottom aswell as #240. On the side of the blueand one of the pink dresses is the Josef Originals tag with California. These were made before they moved theirproduction studio to Japan. The two pinkdresses also have the Gail tag near the hem.

Please note. Theseitems are in excellent vintage condition except for a touch of crazing (see pics). Otherwise, no scratches, chips, or repairs. The flowers and gems are all intact. These figurines are hand painted so there maybe some fading, imperfections,adding a touch of character, but I see nothing that stands out. The figurines are beautiful for their age.
