Battle Space Car Reproduction Nose Cone In Bright Aluminium . This is a manufactured reproduction of the Battle Space Cars nose cone. It is made from Aluminumand looks just like the original Battle Space Car nose cone. If your Car's nose cone is damaged, or bent over, or has degraded as the second version produced by Tri-ang Hornby the rubber one they tended to do, over the years. You can now replace it with a similar look alike Aluminumreproduction one.
The nose cone is turned on a lathe. The new nose cone will give your Battle Space Car that new authentic / Modern look. I have made the part of the nose cone that fits into the car nose area 4.4mm Diameter, (Later rubber nose that tended to perish over the years) The later nose made of plastic came with a 3.5 mm in Diameter in the car nose. This will have to be drilled out to receive the new nose 4.4mm X 6mm long locating post, (I can also make to order depending on your nose hole size but you need to inform me when ordering). A Standard size seems to be 4.4mm Diameter locating peg. The old plastic nose tended to snap off, this new aluminumcone will not.
Important Safety Warning. If you have Children playing with this nose fitted do not let them watch the car moving around the track from eye level, close to the track. Tri-ang Hornby warned and alerted people / Parents of their youngsters being pocked in the eye by the nose cone. This also applies to adults as well.
The aluminium nose cones, looks very good on the car a more up to date / Modern look. (Not for the purist)
