Vintage circa 1880 Arapaho or Central Plains moccasins in impeccable condition. These antique moccasins measure 10\" from toe to heel. Supple and thick brain tanned hide, with fine thin likely antelope hide fringed ankle cuffs. The vamp top is adorned with several cone tinklers attached to the fringed cuff. Outstanding colors with a robins egg blue background and white heart rose red, dark blue, greasy yellow, pink, beads. Parfleche soles. NO HOLES, NO TEARS, FINE CONDITION! These moccasins just came out of a prominent important estate collection that will be disclosed to successful buyer. Truly a centerpiece pair of early Plains moccasins that could reside in any important private collection or museum.
