ABOUT THIS IMAGE:(Please note print does not come framed or mounted as above - image is for demonstration of look if framed)
Taken on assignment in Egypt this iconic image of Chephren\'s Pyramid was shot at midday on the Winter Solstice in 1989.
The elements in this stunning image were totally \'given\' me. Since I rarely almost never use filters or SFX lenses all that you see here was discovered when we printed from the negative in the darkroom (remember those?).
The sun is known to be the representation of the masculine principle, Chephen is taken as the representation of the feminine principle within the three pyramids. At this auspicious moment the sun impregnates with the sword of truth the feminine. When these two principles are aligned/balanced only then can transformation happen. Transformation is represented by the display of a thirteen pointed mandala emanating from the sun. Thirteen in numerology is known to represent transformation. Thus this gifted image offers a huge relational meaning to the owner.
