【Rare】A mesmerizing Liddicoatite Tourmaline with eye-popping colours ranging from deep red, orange, yellow, black, and brown with pale greenish tints, pink, magenta and a thin fuchsia layer that borders around the tip. It reminds me of a beautiful sunset scenery! There are 2 amazing arrowhead phantoms, and the back has layers of etchings. The trigonal front has a unique shape with a large smooth prismatic face looking like a diamond shape, while the other 2 faces at the front with vertical striations. The top has a triangular face when viewed from the C-axis. Upon closer inspection, the large diamond-shaped face has unique etchings on the surface looking like fish scales, but it is smooth. This Tourmaline is fascinating with its clarity yet when it is not backlit, the inclusions pop up with a colourful display of “flowers”, offering a kaleidoscopic scenery and the colours remind me of cherry blossoms in Japan and Tanzanites! It’s like giving the Tourmaline a different visual look. Lastly, due to the diamond-shaped face with the red core phantom, it forms an “hourglass” image. This specimen is self-standing, and there are no damages, repairs or restorations. A truly special gift from Mother Nature!
