2.5\" Cumulative spine split. Cover, first wrap, and three center wraps detached. Heavy water damage with staple rust/migration. Interior pencil markings.

This is a low grade item. The story will be complete and readable, but the item itself will have low eye appeal and will display major damage. Allowed defects for this grade include: non-story elements such as coupons, ad pages, or Marvel Value Stamps cut or torn out of the book; spine split of up to 2/3 the length of the book; a missing back cover provided the front cover is still attached; severe water damage, residue, mold, or paper deterioration due to oxidation; vertical book-length crease; detached cover or centerfold; writing or other marks on the cover; major tears; discoloration, staining, or brittleness.

Cover by Charles Schulz. Stories and art by Charles Schulz, Ernie Bushmiller, Rudolph Dirks, Dick Van Buren, and Bob Lubbers. Tip Top Comics presented color reprints of United Features newspaper comic strips. One of the backup strips in the comic is Charles Schulz\'s Peanuts, then only in its fifth year; several strips are presented in full color. Lucy thinks an umbrella will help her levitate. Lucy \"borrows\" Charlie Brown\'s baseball glove, and proves to be an amazing catcher. Tarzan sets out to rescue Don Evans from Queen Olga\'s tribe. Nancy and Sluggo try to build a better mousetrap. One of the earliest appearances of Schulz\'s Peanuts on the cover of a comic book.
