Sarpaneva\'s works are exhibited in homes and museumsaround the world. His designs extend from utility glassware and art glass totextiles and graphics. Sarpaneva has had an important role at Iittala. Hedesigned the \"i\" logo, which serves as the symbol of the company. Thesebeautiful pieces have cobalt blue glass (about 1 inch high) bases, but thecolor is reflected throughout the clear glass all the way to the top. Alongwith the color, the suspended bubbles add to the marine-like quality of thepiece.
