We\'re not sure if these were produced before or after William Howard Taft was president, because he served on the bench both times: at age 29 he was appointed an Ohio Superior Court judge for one year, then ran and was elected for five. And of course, after Taft had been president, Harding appointed him onto the U.S. Supreme Court as Chief Justice, where he served until early 1930, dying shortly after he resigned.
When one looks at the image on these, he looks awfully young, so you decide, because that could be just advertising. We weren\'t around then to know. The picture bands are .75\" wide x 3\" long while the box label is 2\" x 4\".
