Medal badge from Three Mile Island (TMI) circa 1974. TMI nuclear plant survived a near Meltdown in the late 70s. The plant is in Middletown PA, about 10 minutes outside of Harrisburg. I tried to find a reference to this item using Google photo search and came up empty so I assume this is a rare item.
The back of the fob or badge says \"Three Mile Island Generating Station, Builder UE&C, Fob Design Ann White, For W Forney I U O E, Local 542, Phila PA, Commercial Operation Sept 1, 1974.\"
Pictures are hard because fob is shiny but color is consistent and in very good shape. No scratches or discoloring.
