It RUNS and KEEPS TIME.The dial is all-original; it has not been replaced with a modern replacement dial face as is so often unfortunately seen. This commercial-model Telechron dealer clock is one of the earliest of Telechron clocks; it deserves a place in the collection of a true electric clock afficianado. A previous owner has stripped the original paint from the bright steel frame of the clock, so it can be used and displayed as it is or it is ready for repainting by the end user in whatever color they may see fit; these clocks were originally painted a sort of dark gun-metal-gray-metallic hue, some of which is visible from the back side of the clock. A prior owner has also replaced the original rayon cord with a white plastic cord, which while safe and functional, clashes with the period of manufacture; the ivory plug isn\'t so off-kilter, but at the option of the Buyer we can replace the cord and plug with dark brown rayon and a dark brown or black plug if so wished.This commercial-model Telechron dealer clock is a very early Telechron.
