This is a mid grade item. It will have enough minor defects that it is in clearly worse condition than a brand new freshly published comic, magazine, or book. Allowed defects for this grade include: a spine split of less than half an inch, minor water spotting or other residue, impacted corners, and an accumulation or spine stresses that may break color. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor defects or one or two moderate defects.

Description

Volume 6, 1st Printing - Signed and numbered edition limited to 500 copies - Autographed by Burne Hogarth. Collects Tarzan newspaper strips from 1936-1937. Tarzan fights the evil empire Flint is building by exploiting natives to work in a rich gold mine. This volume sees the torch gloriously pass from Hal Foster's hands to the no less able ones of Burne Hogarth. With an introduction by James Van Hise who had the chance to interview Hal Foster. Hardcover, 10 1/2-in. x 14-in., 64 pages, full color
