- G-NET Modbios 2011 ver on a proper 27c800 IC. See youtube for proper installation. Install this IC and a standard HDD jumper (ask if you need one) for a one-time update process. LET IT RUN! You might think it's over once or twice. Once done, turn off, remove this IC and jumper, and go about your day. You only need the chip once, so once you're done, pass it along for someone else or hold onto it to upgrade other boards.
- I am starting to see sellers some places using incorrect EPROMS for this and other arcade motherboards, and while in some/many cases rom doubling (using a newer/larger chip with the file duplicated to fill it) is harmless, I find this a poor experience for the end user. I always use the proper / equivalent chip in my listings.
