The bronze is large and in good condition Original.Ukrainian SSR.\"Motherland\" (Ukrainian: Batkivshchyna-Mati) is a monumental sculpture in Kiev on the right bank of the Dnieper. It is the tallest statue in Ukraine. It is located on the territory of the Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War.It was opened as part of the museum complex in 1981 on Victory Day. The complex was opened by Leonid Brezhnev, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU.
The author of the monument is People\'s Artist of the Ukrainian SSR and the USSR, Ukrainian sculptor Vasily Borodai.Decommunization in Ukraine.The Soviet coat of arms was removed from the shield in accordance with the law on decommunization in force in Ukraine since 2015. In its place on August 6, a trident appeared - the Ukrainian trident.
