This stunning belt buckle was handmade in 1988 using high grade, GEM QUALITY, VERY RARE, Natural Sleeping Beauty turquoise set in hand crafted sterling silver and is a must-have for any Western Americana collector. Crafted by renowned Navajo artist Tommy Moore, this piece made from genuine sterling silver and the very rare Sleeping Beauty-turquoise. Most of Tommy’s master pieces were made with genuine natural kingman turquoise. What makes this buckle so rare is the natural sleeping beauty turquoise used. That’s hard to find and expensive if you do find it. Each piece he made was a little different but this one is truly exceptional. This man will surely go down in history as one of the greatest Navajo Silversmith ever.
