T&V Limoges Large 16\" Charger Art Deco Handpainted by E.K. in 1916:

This charger is very large, measuring 16\" across and stands just over 1/2\" tall. It\'s mostly white, but has an unusal and lovely handpainted trim all around the inside edge.
This plate/charger is stamped T&V, Limoges France. They would make these pieces without decoration and it would be hand painted by an artist at some point later. The T&V stamp dates from 1892 - 1907. The artist, \'E. K.\' signed it in 1916. I have a few other peices signed by the same artist in other lots, equally as sweet (but with Art Deco Butterfly designs), so be on th elookout if you like this one. I haven\'t been able to figure out who E.K. was, but I do like the painting!
