You are purchasing a rare Sylvania Thunderbird Transistor Radio model 3102 circa 1956. I understand this was the first transistor radio produced by Sylvania. A car ( Ford Thunderbird ) theme. I am selling this radio from my personal radio collection. I am not atransistor radio collector but the car theme and design kept calling. The radio was purchased without batteries and has never been run or tested. The cabinet is in very nice condition and is shown in the photos. There are no chips or cracks I can identify. There are two very small hairlines are the corners of the Sylvania grill section. With this design structure it is not surprising a hairline could occur. I had included a photo of the front grill section. In my view they do not distract in any way from the radio and are barely visible unlessyou look very closely. This is rare radio seldom found in this condition.
