From Disney tag on back: This is a limited edition of 500 hand-painted character celsfrom The Sword in the Stone. It is oneof a series of selected limited-edition reproductions of original artwork fromanimated Disney classics. For this special release the art was recreated using anoriginal animation drawing which was transferred to an acetate plastic “cel”using a special Xerox process, just as was done in the production of the film.The colors are Disney-created acrylic-based paints that were hand applied byDisney painters. The background for this cel is a reproduction of theoriginal production background painting. It has been printed on premium qualitypaper. This cel setup from The Sword in the Stone is from Sequence12, Scene 37. Wart determinedly pulls the sword Excalibur out of the stone,thus earning himself the crown of England.
