This fine image first appearedin Robert Elliot, R.N.\'sViews of India, China, and the Shores of the RedSea, published in London circa 1835 by Peter Jackson - by permission of CaptainRobert Melville Grindlay (1786-1877) from his \"Scenery, Costumes andArchitecture chiefly on the Western Side of India\" which Grindlay hadpublished in 1826. Prior to this, virtually all prints (and engravings) were produced as illustrations to be included in a manuscript, book, newspaper, or pamphlet.
