“Surprised?” is a 1950s Gil Elvgren pin-up print. It features a brunette beauty in red next to a jack-in-the box. The jack-in-the-box has a star showing where businesses could put advertising produced by the calendar company. Gil Elvgren (1914-1980) was an American painter of pin-up girls, advertising and illustration. His paintings of models in his hyper-reality style earned him the reputation of being "The Norman Rockwell of cheesecake"!

“Surprised?”is 3 7/8” x 5” and is in excellent condition.
