Really superb very tall, bulbous Quimper vase by HR. Stands 15 1/2\" tall. Lovely hand-painted decorations, with the front showing a Breton couple in a wooded area, while the back has a vibrand floral design. Decor Rich border. Marked \"HR Quimper\" on the front and bottom. The style of the HR mark dates this to the early 1900\'s. A stunning pice of early Quimper.
Condition is superb with no damage, no repair and almost no wear. What you see in the next-to-last photo is an in-the-making molding flaw near the top which is quite common in early Quimper. It has original glaze over the flaw, and it does not go through to the front. As always your satisfaction is guaranteed.
