This contract was in a file folder of contracts for concerts presented by SumArts, Inc., an organization founded in 1969 which presented jazz and blues concerts in Houston, TX. The three founders of SumArts, Inc. were Robert Lanny Steele [an American jazz pianist, educator, composer and festival promoter, Dr. Robert Morgan [the 2020 inductee into Downbeat Magazine\'s Education Hall of Fame and Dr. Vivian Ayers Allen [mother of trumpeter Tex Allen, actress Debbie Allen, and actress Phylicia Rashad]. I acquired these after Lanny Steele passed away and left the position of Executive Director of SumArts to me.
