Quick note on photos: this piece is pictured wet (without oil) indoors; outdoor photos are dry; unless darker, in which case that surface has been oiled with cosmetic grade Jojoba oil. The last photo (against the white background) shows it in the lowest lighting.
“Pink n Blue Pyramid” – this exquisitely fine nugget stands 3 ways – and has a pinker side (and a more purple sector), with a baby blue dot and veins, all enhanced when pictured wet. Note (in case it’s not obvious) the photos alternate wet, dry, wet, etc.
In the Crystal Concentrics paradigm, Sugilite is the ultimate Manifestation Stone, acting by celestial osmosis to bring into being what you hope and seek for. Sugilite comes from South Africa, was mined out in the 70’s and 80’s, and most of what’s available on the market today is disappointingly impure and low grade. Also, most vendors portray it with poor color reproduction and wet, so it looks like it might if it were cut and polished. You can see water on Kyle’s hand on the pieces shown wet. We like to show you what they look like dry too (as possible), ’cause that’s the truest test of the stone’s quality. The color is more vibrant when seen wet (or if polished). Sugilite is one of our favorite types of stones, and we’re hoping to set a new standard in grading and presentation quality for this extraordinary variety. Our prices on this material are not so flexible, because we’ve put a lot of energy into seeking, grading and marking these appropriately, relative to one another.
