1. "works" - see the video - I hit all the keys & only one stuck, and just a bit. I believe that is something a mere cleaning or possibly a slight adjustment will remedy BUT --
the SPACE BAR IS STUCK - so that DOES NOT WORK!
I am NOT an expert or even knowledgeable about antique or vintage typewriters. Or any typewriters. I just like them. So, please keep in mind that "works" to me simply means what you can see in the VIDEO that is part of this listing.
I also noticed rust on the underside of most of the keys, and small spots elsewhere underneath, though when this was sitting on my desk, upright, it looked immaculate. I thought about cleaning it but did nothing as again I am no expert.
Also, there is a lever on the front labeled "touch control" - I can't move it. I don't know if it is stuck or if it is broken or if I simply do not know how to use it because I don't have any idea what it is even supposed to do or how it is supposed to work. Please ask any questions as again in Arno returns.
Included is a b/w printed copy of a PDF of a manual (that is what the 2nd photo shows, i.e., the cover of that manual) that MAY pertain to this model, but there were many similar models so I do not know (and I did not read this manual as I don't have time, I just thought the buyer might find it helpful).
