This is another one of those things I said that I would not sell, until I realized that this is a very heavy chunk of iron, and I can’t take it with me to that great swap meet in the sky, and my daughter wouldn’t really appreciate it as much as she should. So I’m reduced to selling it now! This is an absolutely beautiful Odessa. The Odessa Texas meteorite is, like the Gibeon, Toluca or the Sinkote-Alin meteorite one of the more rare irons. Canyon Diablo is expensive, Campo Del Cielo is the go to bargain iron, but Odessa is a magnificent member of the iron meteorite clan, usually $1.50-2 a gram. This specimen weighs 1400 g, which is a very sizable chunk of iron for the average collector. Of course you’re not the average collector, and something like this would look great in your collection. For $1400 (a dollar a gram) and free shipping, you’re getting this rare Odessa at Canyon Diablo, or even Campo Del Cielo prices! If you’re a serious meteorite collector, don’t pass this up.
