Stunning 1930s Grandmother's Flower Garden Quilt TOP Gorgeous Top This listing is for a vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt top. No backing or batting is included; it is a quilt TOP ready to be finished. The fabric appears to be cotton and, based on the prints, is probably from the 1930s. The diamond path around the "flowers" is 1930s Seafoam Green. There are tiny red triangles at the intersections of the path. I have seen many GFG tops and quilts, but never one with these little triangles. The top measures approximately 99" X 110". The top is pictured on a double (full)bed and this top could almost be used as a bedspread after it is finished. The individual hexagons measure 1 1/2", measured from one flat side to the opposite flat side. The top was assembled by hand with very small stitches. I have seen no holes, worn spots, or fabric deterioration. There are a few age spots that I have not tried to clean. This quilt top would make an excellent addition to your collection.

I combine shipping whenever possible--never necessary to ask. "Like items" ship well together. Books and breakables do not. Only items that meet the stringent regulations of the Post Office can travel by Media Mail. If you wish to have items combined into one package, then ONE Paypal payment must be made. Multiple payments means multiple packages.

This is a non-smoking home; however, most of my items are antique or vintage and have been purchased at estate sales and sales. I'm sorry, but I am not aware of how the item has been stored or used before I received it. I frequently get asked about odors. I have a fairly "sensitive" nose -- if an item has a disagreeable fragrance, that information will be included in the description.
