Stratton England compact blue floral butterflies tag pouch boxWow - this compact is three inches in diameter, with scalloped rim, is gold tone metal with shiny textured back and Stratton England embossed on it. The front has sprays of pastel flowers with faux cloisonne' butterflies against a navy blue enamel background. Tag hangs from the hinge.
Inside, the mirror has a sticker with instructions on opening it.
A pink makeup sponge with Stratton Made in England on the silky surface rests in the hinged well (press to open on the right side). Hinged on the left, the well has a tabbed fine mesh filter for the powder (or pressed powder, not sure) but it is empty. There is a faint whiff of makeup, but not intense. Since the sponge appears to have makeup on it, I'm calling 'used'.
It comes in a square yellow flannel pouch with Stratton England on a corner ribbon. That comes in a box with 'Stratton matching handbag accessories' on the top.
