When I was making heart pacemaker parts Ihad a wire EDM machine. While using that machine I had an idea to make a fingerknife… similar to the obsidian knives the native Americans made. So, I designed and made a limited productionrun of this knife. It features an oblonghole for your thumb and finger to give you control of the blade and a notch onthe tip of the blade to use your index finger for delicate work. This is a one-of-a-kind, custom-made blade.

I first wire EDM’d the blank out of440C, then heat treated to 58-60RC, then double disc ground the sides to assureprecision flatness and beauty. Bladelength is 2.5”.

A famous, custom knife maker, TAT, putthe final edged on it, to my specifications, giving it a scalpel sharpness.
